The only log that I can give you is the first install of the 42.1 Beta 1, which
hangs the system as always, after the first reboot.
The very last line of the log shows the classic message (NMI watchdog: BUG:
soft lockup ...) above hangs.
I think it's NetworkManager.service, because the system goes in panic a few
seconds after I start this service, even in runlevel 1 with Yast->Services
Manager->Start/Stop.
Unfortunately, the system does not log anything, because it freezes completely.
However, as I wrote, the same problem began to occur in early September, while
I was using Tumbleweed. Then I tried 42.1 Milestone 2, then today Beta 1, and I
found still the same defect, while never happens with 13.2.
I reported the same bug also for Beta 1 (#947513).
