Hmm probably either the right wicked packages were not installed or some
reconfiguration (or even stop) of the wpa_supplicant packaged has happened. 

These steps look suspicious:

Therefore to speed up the analysis could you please join FreeNode IRC (e.g.

channel so we could identify what the problem is?
