I am unfamiliar with the distinction between recommended and required dependencies, the package manager didn't ask me when I filed this bug, if I wanted to install groff-full, it just installed it. I had to uninstall it afterwards. The list of dependencies is directly from the output of "zypper in man". Isn't it a bit weird to have libwayland of all things as a dependency of man?
