Much like bsc1206683 and this issue, I installed the latest from Kernel:stable and the system boots to the login screen w/o the hardlock. Currently running on 6.2.0-4.1.g89e2785 and as long as it runs for the next few hours w/o issue(s) I'll clear the lock for ucode-intel and see how that goes.
