OpenSUSE guests need to install guest from openSUSE repos not the Oracle CD.
unless they install Oracle from their site.

sudo zypper install virtualbox-kmp-default virtualbox-guest-tools

The Oracle CD is for Windows not openSUSE.

Linux guest need to install the version that is built for their kernel not the
one from Oracle. Oracle seems to be too many kernels behind what is being used
by patched systems.
