Um, I could not reproduce it on my testing machine, after upgrade the firewall was running. I downloaded the original https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/172144/asset/hdd/openSUSE-13.1-gnome64.qcow2 disk image and booted it. The firewall was not running and it was disabled: bernhard@susetest:~> /sbin/rcSuSEfirewall2 status SuSEfirewall2.service - SuSEfirewall2 phase 2 Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/SuSEfirewall2.service; disabled) Active: inactive (dead) So for me it seems OK, YaST does not change the firewall setting and keeps the original state before upgrade. Dominique, please adjust the openQA test - make sure the firewall is enabled in 13.1 before upgrade.
