Thank you for the clarification. With your provided steps, I was able to
reproduce the issue.

On further testing, I discovered that it is not a unique issue to our Bugzilla,
as I was able to replicate the problem on a number of other Bugzilla sites, as
well as with a stock working copy version. However, since they use the stock
authentication, the condition is only replicated if the link is opened in a new
window or tab, as a normal click pops up a set of input fields that, when
populated, loads a different URL instead.

I will be working with my fellow members of the Bugzilla project to get this
corrected. I will provide a link to the bug project URL soon.
