Same problem here.

I installed a new system, openSUSE 15.3.

For the very first time, spamd service fails to start at startup and manually
there is no problem.

I don't get this problem with 15.2.

Here are the details from the service manager.

* spamd.service - Daemonized version of spamassassin
     Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/spamd.service; enabled; vendor
preset: disabled)
     Active: failed (Result: timeout) since Fri 2021-09-10 05:52:57 CEST; 4min

signal=TERM)
