Now back to your problem.

Did you try the gtk3 app? you can use xmag to zoom and ensure the glyphs are
there or not.

Try to post /etc/sysconfig/fonts-config content.

Maybe upload whole /etc/fonts/ content.

@Fridrich do you know which hinting we have to disable due to patent reason and
if it might be sideefect of this?
