The new mailutils pacakge has a tool vclled mimeview and this expects
mimeview: cannot open `/etc/cups/mime.types': No such file or directory
AFAICS that the source tar ball of cups includes this file as conf/mime.types
and the spec file includes
%doc %{_mandir}/man5/mime.types.5.gz
but does not include
%config %{_sysconfdir}/cups/mime.types
