Comment # 1 on bug 961887 from Takashi Iwai

I expected the fix patch being merged beforehand, but alas it didn't happen. 
It's queued for 4.5 in linux-next for now.

I backported it to master branch.  Now stable branch syncs with master for 4.4,
so the next update kernel should contain this fix.
