This has been in NEEDINFO for no less than 3 different people for about a year
now, and nobody answered.

What's the status of this? AFAICS this is very vague and in need of a general
concept. I don't see anything that we, the YaST team, could work on; if this is
something that YaST could or should do in the first place.

I don't think this belongs in the (too long) list of pending YaST bugs. This is
a much more general topic where first a concept is needed, then a decision if
and how to do this, and on what level. This belongs to JIRA, not the YaST
pending bugs list.
