At the time of creating the bug report, the version I was running was 20241112
i.e. it was only 5 days out of date. 

In the meanwhile, I did run "zypper dup" again and the system got upgraded to
20241115 where the issue is still present.

In case that was missed, in my original comment, I posted the output of "inxi
-aFz" for both the last known working version, and the current non-working
version.
