Yes, please try with xdm. You may need to install it first via 'zypper in xdm".
Then edit /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager:DISPLAYMANAGER, and set it to "xdm".
Then run 

  rcxdm restart

then again

  systemctl reload display-manager.service
