status with oidentd
Version     : 2.0.8
Release     : 149.4

from freshly and updated (12.04.2017) Leap 42.2: does not start out of the box,
neither via startscript rcoidentd nor via systemctl which is the same:

opensuse42-base-test:/usr/sbin # rcoidentd start
rcoidentd: no such service oidentd

/usr/sbin/rcoidentd is a link to /usr/sbin/service 

but there is no service as oidentd.

There is a file

/usr/lib/systemd/system/oidentd.socket

but this is obviously the old init script. Could it be that an oidentd.service
file is missing instead?

The second problem is still around: file listed in the package are not really
packaged and are missing:

'/etc/oidentd.conf': No such file or directory
'/etc/oidentd_masq.conf': No such file or directory
