After many package operations, RPM sometimes needs rebuilding of its package
database to regain its efficiency. This happens more often on distros that
receive a lot of updates like Tumbleweed and its derivatives like Slowroll.

Please try

  sudo rpm --rebuilddb

Please reopen if this does not fix the problem.
