Comment # 8 on bug 663764 from Thomas Hartwig

I have this problem in openSUSE 13.1 still. Bootsplash is installed but
mkinitrd can not be run with the option -s. The manpage still contains the -s
option.

Probably it is fixed in yast to avoid this parameter, but what is about the 
mkinitrd program, why this option is disabled?
