I'm at a loss here. For me the main question still is which mechanism is supposed to enable the SuSEfirewall2 systemd unit after the upgrade from the SysV init script in openSUSE 12.2 (in case the init script was in a boot runlevel). I have no idea why this worked before the recent update. My guess is that some strange side effect caused it to work until now. Sorry that I can't say any more.
