I also disabled pulse on my Leap system after I had intermittent sound
problems. Now my sound always works, I occasionally get a kde notification that
x audio has failed - falling back on y audio but x and y are different
representations of the same onboard sound. I'll have fun when I put my nVidia
card back in my box, it's got DVI sound.
