Comment # 9 on bug 1206497 from Jesenko Mehmedbasic

I've failed to reproduce it in a VM, I must have attempted to boot the physical
disk in a VM those months ago.


I have reproduced it on three thinkpads: T480, E480 and A485 with various
different bios versions with vintages ranging from 2019 to 2022.
In all three instances there was no openSUSE entry in the EFI.

It seems like the installer fails to update the EFI boot entry when the
legacy/UEFI combination is set, maybe because it installs the BIOS bootloader
or maybe because there's some bug in the firmware preventing the installer to
update the entry.

I'll hook up a new installation one and send in some logs.
