Could you try "mokutil --set-verbosity true" after upgrading shim to 15.4 and collect the debug messages during system boot? The debug messages from shim would output to the serial port. If the mainboard doesn't have serial port, you could try video recording with smart phone and attach the video file (needs to be under 10MB).
