With the two scriptlet packages merged, I don't expect the results we observed
would be reproduced, and so there wouldn't be anything needing changing in the
installer. In the meantime, those privy to this report know the issues and
workaround, and those that aren't should be able to find this with a /boot/
empty or equivalent search if necessary.

Given the length of this report, it's understandable that some context may be
or have been missed. I'm scrapping my reply to comment #39 as moot, for the
reasons stated above.
