Hello; I have a laptop with broken screen. I use it by connecting an external monitor to the VGA output. I wanted to install openSUSE Leap 42.2 on this computer. I booted from installation DVD. System messages and the installer progress bar are shown without problems on the external monitor. But when the installer switches to graphical mode, the screen turns black. I can control the mouse cursor and move it past the left edge of the monitor. I assume this means the external monitor is in "extend display" mode. I think it should mirror monitor 1. I tagged this bug as major because it prevents me from installing the distro. Thanks, Deniz
