Since the 9.3 release, the kernel has integrated support for multiport cards into the generic serial driver. That driver has a compile-time defined limit of 8 ports, and a runtime limit of 4 ports, so this message appears in the log. Two of them are used by the serial ports on your motherboard, so when it tries to register the 5th port, we see: <4>Couldn't register serial port 0000:00:0b.0: -28 (-ENOSPC) Can you boot with the kernel parameter "8250.nr_uarts=6" and see if that fixes the problem for you? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
