Currently, the fixes needed to boot with systemd=<234 in a unprivileged container is included in 236. See https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commit/d3070fbdf6077d7da9dbafa198fff8dea712d2ff and see the longer discussion here https://github.com/lxc/lxc/issues/1678. Is it possible to have that fix backported to 15.x?
