This is a different issue.

But I very much doubt that the colon is the cause.
Besides, I've checked it here. It works for me.

I had to create the $HOME/.gnupg directory by hand as there is no template for
it in /etc/skel.

Peter, you may have changed something else besides this which made it start
working.

Werner, do you see why the colon may have made a difference?
