When that happened, nothing can ever be typed. The machine goes into unresponsive mode with three asterisk moving back and forth. It always happens around Plymouthd in my cases in both openSUSE and Centos. It's machine specific in that my Dell Inspiron with Sandybridge chipset showed no sign of that problem or any problems. It's only Haswell that occured. I will permanently set log level to debug from now on.
