So that's embarassing. It has been myself who changed the bug subject from 

   Move modprobe configuration to /usr/lib/modprobe.d (or /usr/etc/modprobe.d)  

to

  Move modprobe configuration to /usr/lib/modprobe.d 

But hey, that's 9 months ago. ;-)
