After the installation of Leap 42.2 Beta 1 completed, the audio level of the
system sounds was very low -- almost inaudible.
Investigation revealed that, the YaST Hardware Sound Configuration was
reporting that, a sound card was detected but not configured.
Configuring the detected card with the default automatic configuration YaST
routine resolved the issue.

Given the amount of Forums discussion related to this issue and, the number of
"new to openSUSE" folks, might it not be a reasonable idea to execute the
default automatic sound card configuration routine on each detected sound card
during installation?
