Comment # 1 on bug 988835 from Stakanov Schufter

I did a re-install of the whole system. 
The problem is gone. FYI (if that may help you in any way).
- I had a problem with privoxy (that did not have access to the internet, it
had to be restarted) that is solved.
- rkhunter warned often about the inode of sshd changed (without any visible
changes in content, I checked).
- I did get a message of me having changed "resolv.conf" which I didn't.
- I go this problem of kgpg. 

Now after the install the problem is gone and without any further action the
smartcard / key works as expected. 
I will now check if also the strange firmware load problem of the wlan is gone.
Seems to be the case up to now. 
Anyway I close this now since I will not be able to give you any further info
on this, as the system is new. 
If the problem comes up again I will let you know.
