Comment # 2 on bug 1074656 from Kai Torben Ohlhus

The current version available on Leap 42.3 is Texinfo 4.13a (from 2008).  The
GNU Octave project, I am involved in, started using features from Texinfo 6
(\codequoteundirected) for their documentation recently.

A quick fix for me was getting Texinfo 6 from the publishing repository.  An
even better fix was to generally update Leap to Texinfo 6.  Debian stable did
so as well: https://packages.debian.org/stretch/texinfo.
