Geoclue2 used to rely on the Mozilla Location Service, which was discontinued earlier this year. It would be nice to still be able to use WiFi coverage for geolocation. A successor to MLS is BeaconDB, which has already grown a lot and which is quickly expanding coverage. [1] I propose to set BeaconDB as default service for WiFi-based geolocation in Geoclue2.
