This looks like a complete different issue. Permission problem due to X started as regular user by the displaymanager? Could be gdm or sddm. Xorg itself worked as we saw in https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1208204#c9. No idea why this issue would be triggered by a glibc update ...
