I'd like to know what does happen if beside starting emacs like in comment #25 you're using emacs --smid=2d8141d58-12db-49a6-8893-2addd79140b3 --no-splash \ --chdir=/work/rjschwei/devel/smt apache2/conf.d/smt_mod_perl.conf how many files and directories are located below /work/rjschwei/devel/smt and why is emacs started with apache2/conf.d/smt_mod_perl.conf as the file to edit within an initial desktop startup? Is this a former but crashed emacs session?
