Tumbleweed - 20160430 MinimalX "Desktop" (IceWM) Default installed Window Manager is kdem. After enabling "Remote Administration" using the YAST applet, the window manager is changed from kdem to twm. Resetting the windows manager to kdem using the "/etc/sysconfig editor" solves the problem. Although this was observed on "Tumbleweed - MinimalX" have not investigated whether this problem exists in other openSUSE MinimalX, but should be simple to see if the YAST code is the same for versions other than TW. Although to some this might be a superficial bug, if the User is not experienced will be met with an old-style Gnome-type Desktop without familiar Desktop objects like an application launcher with menu, application bar and more.
