I also am experiencing this issue, however on LEAP 42.3 that was upgraded from 42.2. I see the same stack trace to SIGSYS in socket() from libudev. One new piece of information that I did not see reported by others in this thread - if I invoke the gnome-control-center, even without the GUI, (e.g. "gnome-control-center -l"), then tracker-extract immediately behaves and does not crash any longer.
