It was a "clean" install without any changes. So there is no networkmanager
control installed (knetworkmanager).
After removing the lan cable, there was no other way.
I had to use Yast to setup network using ifup.
Then I configured WLan without touching the wired eth0 part.
So no lan cable, but:
eth0 (== wired lan) got the ip it had during install
route default was set to use eth0
Shutting down eth0 with ifconfig eth0 down removes the default route.
So there is no default gw at all.
Of course I can fix it installing knetworkmanager, switching to
NetwokManager and let the user config Lan/Wlan, as tha works
and at now I switched back to this solution.
So if we want to switch to NetworkManager only, we have to install
all necessary helpers for kde or gnome, to make it useable.
