Scott, could somebody in your team have a look at libical update for SLE12 to
1.0.1, so it would be propagated to Leap ? We have to be careful because it
looks like ABI is somehow broken between 1.0 and 1.0.1, we need to fix this : 

according to Milan Chra (evolution upstream developer):
<@mcrha> it still can be a libical issue, there had been an issue with enum
generation, new build could reorder the enum values, which caused misbehaviour
(similar to yours). Unless the libical was fixed (to preserver the order in
some way), each time libical was rebuild all users of it should be rebuild too.
If we are taling about 3.16.5, then it basically matches the time frame
