if you click on the trash folder you go straight into that folder in dolphin. you do a right click and select empty trash. it does just that but sometimes doesn't change the desktop icon from red to blue depending on your desktop style. An enhancement could be to add an option when you right click the desktop icon would display empty trash there as well, make things a bit quicker for some. let me know if there is any other details that you need
