I've updated my Wiki article for installing Ruby on LEAP 15 (still retaining
information that applies going back to 13.2) at

The article describes the steps I recommend for installing Ruby (not a full
Rails) on openSUSE from the OSS, and also describes using RBENV (instead of
RVM) to install Ruby from the official Ruby repository with my own spin
supporting all Users on the machine instead of only the logged in User when
RBENV is installed.
