User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:126.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/126.0 Build Identifier: Aeon installer failed when the /dev/disk/by-id link does not exist. Scenario: a freshly created virtual machine (QEMU). The disk image is new, too. I can confirm that the /dev/disk/by-id/vda link does not exist in the system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a QEMU VM (using virt-manager) 2. Boot the Aeon installer. 3. Start the installation. 3. Find the first error: "Could not find by-id representation of vda. Using original device /dev/vda". 4. After accepting, you get mostly the same error. 5. And then, "Given device /dev/disk/by-id/vda does not exist" 6. An "Installation Failed" message appears. Actual Results: The installation is not even started. Expected Results: I expected the installation to start.
