Overview: during the distribution update the processed freezes and cant finish the distribution update. Another virtual console opens which tries to reboot or something like that but you are still able to swirtch to the windows seesion and cancel the update. Steps to Reproduce: * run zypper dup Actual Results: the process stops on btrfsmaintenance package. the system drops you to a virtual console trying to reboot and the system looks partly halted Additional Information: the workaround was to cleanup the repositories and rebuild the rpm db. and finally remove the btrfsmaintenance rpm. # zypper clean --all # rpmdb --rebuilddb # rpm -e btrfsmaintenance
