I have no handle on the numbers, but anybody running OS/2, eCS or ArcaOS is likely to need grub in a PBR. Unless and until there is an option to write the loader into the PBR of the logical drive instead of into the PBR of the extended logical partition, they are likely to need custom boot. I'm sorry that I don't have the actual numbers. HTH.
