Actually, applies to all supported openSUSE, not just 13.2.

Looks like no one has built Ruby for awhile, openSUSE 13.2 seems to ship and
update with version 2.1.

Version 2.1 was one major version.
Although 2.1.5 seems to be another relatively major version, it no longer is
the latest.
Currently, 2.2.2 is the latest, the last "2" denotes includes the openssl
patch.

For about a week now, I've installed 2.2.2 from the official Ruby repositories
(installed using rbenv) and all seems to be fine, any YAST applets I've used
work with no problems.

If anyone wants to test 2.2.2 as I did, you can follow the Guide I published
https://en.opensuse.org/User:Tsu2/Install_Ruby#Installing_rbenv

I recommend that a 2.2.2 build can be published in Factory immediately without
any necessary modifications, don't know if openSUSE applies any branding or
other optional modification.
