When I try installing the driver it doesn't end up on the initrd so something
is different in our configs. Maybe I've changed something on my end. Can you
paste the output from the command:
$ cat /etc/dracut.conf.d/*

There is an issue with Cheese and the driver. Can you try some other
application? I usually test with qv4l2.
