This hack has been removed upstream for good reason: it interacts poorly with correctly-acting MSFT QLogic 57840S offload card. See upstream commit# 1c99de981f30b3e7868b8d20ce5479fa1c0fea46 This commit also mentions that newer version of the MacOS GlobalSAN iSCSI, starting with version v5.3.0.541, fix this issue. So adding back in the hack is not a good solution.
