On opensuse 42.3 when I type the command:
  slptool findsrvs service:service-agent
I don't get any output if the firewall is enabled. If I disable the firewall,
then the command works and I get the ip address of the server running slpd.
The issue exists with leap 42.3 running SuSEfirewall2 but also with tumbleweed
running firewalld
