It is much appreciated.

But I am afraid,
this issue got way beyond where I could actively follow.

As far as I see the HPLIP systray stuff works or does not work
depending on various different things in its environment.

I think this issue is neither caused by openSUSE
(I think openSUSE did not mess up Wayland or Plasma5)
nor could this issue be properly solved by openSUSE.

I think this issue can only be solved by HPLIP upstream.
Accordingly I think it is best when you report
your testing results to HPLIP upstream.
