Comment # 2 on bug 1209058 from Dave Plater

A full debug build is required for unstripped binaries, I suspect that this
causes a significant performance loss and this is why it's binaries are
stripped in the current packages.
I have debug packages in home:plater/carla which work.
Closing this bug as fixed.
