A bug has been discussed in the 389-users mailing list that results in 389-ds crashing when no replication is set up. The bug is reported by Nelson Bartley in the thread titled "Monthly internal scheduled task failure resulting in segfault, also...": https://www.spinics.net/linux/fedora/389-users/ I can reproduce this problem in OpenSUSE-Leap 15.3.
